Accelerator
The ACCELERATOR project wishes to increase access to financing innovations with improved framework institutional conditions and connected policy instruments by developing the practical solution of accelerator services. The project primarily focuses on small- and medium-sized companies that need capital but don’t have the skills to obtain it. The chosen approach has a strong transnational dimension: besides the transnational network, regions with well-functioning innovation ecosystems and partners with successful accelerator schemes will help weaker regions or partners with above-mentioned experiences. The University of Maribor's incubator Venture Factory is an important part of the university's innovation ecosystem in Maribor. The Venture Factory is part of the "Entrepreneurship and innovation" pillar of the RAZ:UM consortium, founded by the University of Maribor.
