PODIM Marketplace is a special daylong post-conference event that will take place on 17 May 2018 within the PODIM Conference. The goal of the event is doing business and exchanging best practices between up to 30 best hardware startups & scaleups from the Alps-Adriatic region, the area of Western Balkans and the wider region, and most propulsive regional and global distributors & retailers.
 
 

The initiators behind the organization of PODIM Marketplace are successful Slovenian hardware startups & scaleups: ChipoloVisionectEQUAXVIDA and SipaBoards. The event is co-organized by the PODIM Conference and hardware accelerator Katapult

Benefits for startups & scaleups

Take advantage of an excellent opportunity for networking and weaving new business ties with distributors and the best startups & scaleups.
 
The event will take place in the Habakuk Hotel in Maribor on Thursday, 17 May 2018 between 9.00 and 15.30. You will also be able to attend, at no charge, the second day of the PODIM Conference on 16 May, and spend the night in Maribor.

At the event, up to 30 best hardware startups & scaleups will be able to participate, chosen by the organizers on the basis of their applications. For PODIM ticket holders, participation at Marketplace is free (with obligatory prior registration and confirmation by the organizer).
 
The special ticket for PODIM Marketplace, valid for up to 2 people from the company, includes
  • booked table for setting up introductory material,
  • organization of 1:1 meetings with distributors & retailers,
  • lunch and banquet at the final get-together,
  • ticket for the second day of the PODIM Conference, on 16 May 2018, and
  • 1 double room for an overnight stay in Maribor from 16 to 17 May 2018.
