Which established company will you meet 1:1?
As part of the PODIM2015 Conference, we will also organize speed dating sessions of startup companies and established companies from the region. Based on the past best practice of connecting investors and startup companies, we are now establishing systematic and concrete strategic connections between new ventures and established market players. One-on-one meetings will take place at the conference itself.
Representatives of many established companies will attend the PODIM Conference. The companies introduced in the catalogue are especially interested in networking:
Ericsson
Ericsson is the driving force behind the Networked Society - a world leader in communications technology and services. Their long-term relationships with every major telecom operator in the world allow people, business and society to fulfill their potential and create a more sustainable future. Their services, software and infrastructure - especially in mobility, broadband and the cloud - are enabling the telecom industry and other sectors to do better business, increase efficiency, improve the user experience and capture new opportunities. By enabling the Networked Society, they make a real difference to people’s lives, and the world we live in.
Their platforms are driving innovation and sparking new consumer and producer behaviors, functionalities and even new business models. As a leading ICT company, we will be a prime driver of transformation in the Networked Society. We strive to connect everyone, wherever they may be. Because by being connected, people can take part in the emerging global collaboration that is the Networked Society – a society in which every person and every industry is empowered to reach their full potential.
By 2050, 70 % of the world’s population will live in cities. In a megacity, the amount of people in itself creates an extreme environment in terms of how space and resources are employed. Technology is the main factor which drives cities to lead innovation and become smart cities. In a smart city, the data-collecting sensors across these city layers are integrated and communicating with each other. The data generated can be analyzed across systems to anticipate, mitigate and even prevent common city problems.
